Brahim Diaz has been both praised and criticised this season, with many ups and downs, but 2023 has been a step forward for him. In fact, he’s almost on par with Kevin De Bruyne in one respect.
Diaz was the protagonist for Milan in their 5-1 trashing of Sampdoria as he assisted two goals and bagged one himself. He was behind almost everything that the Rossoneri created up front and it was a MOTM display from him.
As highlighted by the official website of Milan after the game, Kevin De Bruyne (7) is the only midfielder that has more assists than Brahim Diaz (6) in Europe’s top five leagues in 2023. This says a lot about the Spaniard, as most Rossoneri fans believe he can do even more.
Milan are keen on redeeming the player from Real Madrid and it remains to be seen if the parties will reach an agreement. Diaz, meanwhile, needs to work on his consistency because that is certainly his main flaw currently.
I can’t wait to not hear about Diaz anymore. Surely we won’t waste $20m on him, so he will be gone this summer.
How??? When he spends 90% of most games face down on the pitch.
Open play goals in the last 1 game:
Brahim Diaz – 1⚽️/2🅰️
Open play goals/assists in the last 15 (FIFTEEN) games:
Kvaratskhelia – 1⚽️/2🅰️
This is a good example how stats can be utterly useless.. He did a good performance against a very weak side and bagged 2 assists there.. 2 assist agains Lecce (at home and away), 1 against Salernitana and 1 against napoli when they trashed them 0-4.. KDB has 16 assists total btw, in league, light years in front of lord Diaz.
Exactly. This writer tries to make Diaz look like some big star by spinning the stats. But anyone who actually watches him play knows perfectly well that he only has 3-4 good games per season. Most of the time he just dribbles into a defender and falls on the ground and complains. Pathetic.
Diaz 31 games 6 gols 7 assists total goal contribution 13 in is third season in Serie A
Kvaratskhelia 32 games 12 gols 10 total goal contribution 22 in is first season in Serie A
Dont come here trying to defend Diaz with that Shiva the most important stat to compare two atacking players is the total goal contribution!
I was making fun of this entire article.
There is no defending that Spanish midget. He can’t return to Real soon enough.
he’s not a big game player. so we don’t need to waste time.
Well if were not defending Diaz i am sorry Shiva!I am just feed up with people defending Diaz just because the game he had against Samp like i already said before where was he against inter because the only time a notice him was wen he missed a easy goal!
No worries, my satire is not always obvious.
Unlike recent transfers, Diaz is a proven talent. It would be a shame for Milan to not purchase him. Sell CDK to pay for Brahim. It’s rare to have a young proven talent. Don’t take it for granted, Maldini!
Proven to do what? Play 7 good games out of 50 per year?
