Relevo: Brahim Diaz and Real Madrid agree on plans beyond next summer

Real Madrid are already planning for the return of Brahim Diaz who they consider to be a part of their project moving forward, a report claims.

Brahim Diaz scored in the win over Juventus at the weekend after having been left out of the starting XI for the last four Serie A games, which is in large part down to the fact that Milan made such an investment to sign Charles De Ketelaere.

Relevo report that Real Madrid are closely following the developments of the Spanish playmaker and they are doing so calmly, having offered him the chance of terminating his loan early to return to Real Madrid last summer.

The report mentions that the two-year loan deal does not have an option to buy inserted although there was a verbal agreement between all the parties whereby after the first season Brahim’s will would be respected, and he chose to stay.

The player is very clear that his main objective is to succeed in Madrid, but he considered that another year with more minutes in Italy was the best thing for his development. The intention at present is for Brahim to return to the Bernabeu next summer to stay.

Although there is a lot of time before his loan runs out, both Los Blancos and Brahim Diaz himself agree on the idea of him going back to stay. Despite having offers from many Spanish clubs in 2020, he chose Milan because he was attracted by the idea of growing at a club with similar demands to Real Madrid.

In addition, if Marco Asensio does not renew his contract then the path for the man from Malaga would be completely open, as he could join Benzema, Vinicius and Rodrygo among the attacking players with a guaranteed place in the Madrid squad in 2023-24.
