By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan playmaker Brahim Diaz has revealed his delight at getting his first goal for the club during Sunday’s 2-0 win over Crotone.

The Spaniard – who is on loan from Real Madrid – started his first competitive game under head coach Stefano Pioli and didn’t disappoint, scoring the second goal with an instinctive finish from close range.

After the game he was interviewed by Sky Italia, commenting on the victory and his first goal in the Rossoneri shirt.

“I’m happy for the team’s victory, in the same way I’m happy to have scored my first goal, hoping it could to be the first of many,” he said.

“I’m very happy to have played and no matter what position the coach puts me in, I just want to give my best. Now the important thing is to think about the next game, it’s super important for us to go to the Europa League We see game after game, hoping to take the best of everything to come.”
