Everything seemed to be going well, but now Antonee Robinson’s move to AC Milan has hit a roadblock. Although the defender has completed his medical, having arrived in Milan today, the deal could collapse.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Diego Laxalt is now all set to return as there are complications between Milan and Wigan for the Robinson transfer. By the looks of it, the American international’s move to the Rossoneri is off.
Just yesterday, Ricardo Rodriguez completed his move to PSV Eindhoven and Milan thus needed a replacement. As reported by MilanNews.it, Robinson left Casa Milan visibly upset after receiving the news about the transfer.
It remains to be seen what the complications are, although the most likely hypothesis is that Wigan tried to change the terms of the deal in the last minute. Certainly, it’s a big shame for all parties involved, especially for the player.
