Reports are emerging on transfer deadline day that AC Milan have secured the rights to buy a star from Genoa.
The player in question is talented young striker Giovanni Simeone, son of Atletico Madrid boss Diego.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Genoa bought 100% of the 21-year-old’s rights from River Plate on Tuesday, and the Rossoneri have an option to purchase the player in the summer.

Simeone signed for the Rossoblu on 18 August 2016, and scored in his first start for the club in a 1-1 draw with Pescara on 25 September.
He made the headlines on 27 November, after netting a brace in Genoa’s 3-1 win over Serie A leaders Juventus. He has 10 goals in 20 Serie A appearances for Genoa this season.
