AC Milan have picked out their main objective to come in and strengthen the centre-back area, according to one journalist.
With Simon Kjaer potentially out for a while due to needing knee surgery after sustaining ligament damage during last night’s win over Genoa, the rumour mill has quickly spun into overdrive suggesting names that could come in and provide cover if indeed he is out for the rest of the season.
According to the latest from Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com on Twitter, the ‘big target’ that Milan have for the defensive department – albeit ‘more for June than for January’ – is currently Torino’s Bremer.
Bremer joined Torino on a five-year deal back in the summer of 2018 and has now racked up 90 appearances for the Granata in that time, scoring 12 goals in the process. Olivier Giroud’s comments after Milan’s 1-0 win over Torino earlier in the season have given a certain seal of approval to the 24-year-old: “I had a lot of duels with Bremer, he’s a great defender.”

Julian Alvarez. Bremer. Malang Sarr.
why waist unavailable funds, just bring back Caldara, he’s on our payroll, let us at least get back our money’s worth from the dude & he seems great so far, this season
Nah, let just let him be. Milan itself has fitness issues, we won’t be able to keep him fit
