Davide Calabria was forced to a minor knee surgery a little over a month ago and made his return to the pitch on Wednesday against Sassuolo. Despite the absence, he looked very bright after working hard at the training ground.
The right-back has been an important player for Milan this season and his absence was certainly noticed on the pitch. Fortunately, he managed to recover faster than expected and that is always a bonus.
In an interview with MilanTV, which you can see in full below, Calabria spoke about the recovery and all the hard work he put in.
“I’ve worked very hard, every morning and night for a month to try to return as soon as possible because the most important part of the season is just starting and I wanted to return in the best condition possible. I’m happy with the work I’ve done,” he stated.
