MN: Caldara set for Spezia loan whilst Milan lay groundwork for two Aquilotti stars

By Euan Burns -

Mattia Caldara is set to move on loan to Spezia whilst AC Milan have secured a preferential lane for two Aquilotti stars next summer, a report claims.

As has been reported by Milan News today, Caldara will be heading out of Milan once again on a loan deal and this time Liguria will be his destination.

His Rossoneri deal does not expire until 2024 but he will spend one season at Spezia and they have a right to make the deal permanent for €3 million next summer.

Caldara’s most recent loan spell was at Venezia but he could not stop the Arancioneroverdi from getting relegated back to Serie B.

As part of the negotiation for Caldara with Spezia, Milan have managed to obtain the right to first refusal for two Spezia players.

One player is Polish defender Jakub Kiwior who is going to be observed during the World Cup in Qatar later this year. The other player is French defender Kelvin Amian.
