Milan and PUMA signed a long-term extension of their partnership back in 2022, which solidified the German brand’s position as the club’s Principal Partner and the kit maker. It is believed to be in the region of €30m per year, with the previous contract having been worth less than half (€14m).
Looking back prior to PUMA – who took over in 2018 – Milan had a long-running relationship with Nike’s main competitors Adidas from 1998 onwards. It was Lotto from 1993 to 1998, then Adidas again for the three years prior. From 1986-1990 it was Kappa.

Calvelli meanwhile joined Milan last year and has experience as a CEO previously with the Association of Tennis Professionals. The reliable Matteo Moretto said he will have increasingly influence at the club, and this could be one area.
