Camarda reveals his Milan dream and his idols growing up – video

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan striker Francesco Camarda has revealed that his dream is to score a goal at San Siro, while he also spoke about who he has idolised while growing up.

The teenager scored a fantastic goal yesterday during Milan Primavera’s 3-1 win against Cagliari away from home.

The 15-year-old brought the ball down with a simply ridiculous first touch, and then showed the composure to dink it over the keeper despite being just a few yards out.

Camarda spoke while arriving for the presentation of the Italo Galbiati Trophy and his comments were relayed by MilanNews.

What is the next step for you?

“The next step I would like to take is to score at San Siro.”

Who is your idol, a player who inspires you?

“I don’t have an idol, I have 4-5 players who I would like to take inspiration from. Like Suarez, Benzema… There are a few.

“I don’t have a real idol. Thinking about the past I watch Van Basten’s videos. They are just to be admired and tried to imitate.”

  1. Sounds like a kid with a good head on his shoulders.
He doesn’t have an idol, just several players who he admires and is trying to imitate.
Everyone should be respected as individuals, but no one idolized.
A kid understands that, but grown men on this platform lose their mind if you point out facts about their “idols”.
In the meantime let the kid grow and develop in peace for about 2 more years.
