The light at the end of the tunnel is approaching for Francesco Camarda, who should soon return to action on the field.
MilanVibes write how the shoulder injury is now just a bad memory for Camarda, who has returned to Eusebio Di Francesco’s squad for the final part of the season. Against Pisa, the AC Milan loanee could even be a starter, as the Lecce boss confirmed in his press conference.

“Camarda has trained little in the last four months, but he’s returned with a clear and carefree mind, just the way I like it. From now until the end, he can give us that extra something we’ve been missing so far. He can start tomorrow , but he could be just as important during the match,” he said.
Something to prove
With the season approaching its end, the moment is approaching when Camarda and the Giallorossi club could part ways for good, so the striker wants to leave a mark by helping to contribute to their survival.
The deal agreed between Lecce and Milan last summer was a free loan with an option to buy set at €3m and a buy-back at €4m, which means a development fee of €1m. However, a shoulder injury sidelined him for over 100 days, which means his season has been anything but straightforward.
According to Daniele Longo on the Milanvibes YouTube channel, the handling of Camarda has not been liked by his entourage, who are reportedly pushing for a permanent exit from Milan. On the contrary, Milan are hoping to loan him out for another year.
The hypothesis that has gained traction in recent days sees Camarda linked to Sassuolo, a launching pad for young talent. The Italian striker could also be used by Milan as part of an offer for Ismael Koné, while ex-Primaveta boss Ignazio Abate could replace Fabio Grosso as the Neroverdi head coach.
