Francesco Camarda’s time at Lecce has so far not been positive, but he might just get a second crack at making it work.
Indeed, Camarda could remain at Lecce next season. According to MilanVibes, the striker has been offered the chance to stay there if two conditions are met: they secure Serie A survival, and Eusebio Di Francesco remains as the head coach.

A second chance in Salento
This scenario emerges following investigations into the rumours that have been circulating in recent hours regarding Sassuolo’s alleged interest in Camarda. Sassuolo are indeed following the teenager, but he would not be opposed to staying at Lecce if they remain in the top flight.
It is a ‘concrete’ scenario that has been taking shape in recent days after the young striker’s rapid acceptance and adaptation with the Giallorossi, where he ‘immediately felt at ease and developed a paternal relationship with Di Francesco’.
Evidence of this attitude also emerges from the coach’s words on the eve of the match against Pisa tonight. Di Francesco revealed his happiness regarding Camarda’s return from injury and hinted at the possibility of seeing him back in the starting XI, given the struggles of Cheddira and Stulic.
Another negotiation that could soon develop between Milan and Lecce, one centred around Warren Bondo who will return from his loan at Cremonese. He is highly regarded by Corvino and Di Francesco, who would be ready to give him the space he needs to take the next step in his growth.

If we bring Lewandowski then perhaps Camarda can be recalled so he could learn from the best
keep him as rotation/ backup,
he won’t be worse than Gimenez/ Nkunku/ Fullkrug,
loan him if we got 2 great/ good ST but absolutely not what we’ve atm
The thing is, if we are going to have a striker (nevermind multiple) that simply play and can’t score, I’d prefer to have a 18 year old who is growing and learning rather than a has been waiting for them to score. Of course, I’d take an established striker that CAN and will score. But knowing Milan’s striker curse, let’s develop a kid if he’s not scoring right now.
