Igli Tare is expected to be announced as the new sporting director today, which is a start, and he will instantly be tasked with finding a new head coach, according to recent reports. However, he also must work on the mercato, where a new core is probable.
Time is certainly of the essence, though, and with everyone and everything else moving, the Rossoneri cannot be left behind. After all, the result of that was seen this season.
Fabio Capello spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport about the Diavolo’s situation.

But the mistake has been made before, because I am convinced that if Conceiçao had also won the Coppa Italia, after the Super Cup, the current management would have tried to confirm him. And I say, can one match change the judgment on a coach who arrived five months ago? You don’t make evaluations like that.
“Do you think Conceiçao is holding the locker room and growing the team? You keep him even if he loses the final. Conversely, you change even if he wins the second trophy. I totally agree… Sergio is not the problem. Yes he changes the formation late in the season but he listen and change to 3 back. Milan treated him unfairly after giving us a trophy in an incredible manner. Beating juventus and inter.
If he had a full season with this we will be competing for seria A and not just top 4.
The management needed escape goat for their failure and the coach was the best option for them.
