Fabio Capello and Alessandro Costacurta have criticised the handling of the summer so far by AC Milan, above all Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s hand.

It came after the decision was made by the owner to clean house after the 2-1 defeat to Cagliari at the beginning of the month, which meant no Champions League football for 2026-27. A ‘world class organisation’ was promised, yet the feeling is that it has not been delivered.
Milan legends stick the boot in
Capello and Costacurta – the legendary former Milan coach and centre-back – spoke on Sky last night about Milan’s new management structure. Their comments were relayed by MilanVibes.
Capello: “Once upon a time, when you approached a club, there was a sporting director, a technical director, people whose roles you knew. I can’t understand why these clubs have to throw in a bunch of these random English names, when you don’t really understand what those people’s role is.
“Milan fired four people abruptly in May: I wonder if they were really that bad. Igli Tare, a person and professional I’ve met, is very good, he understands football, he studies and watches the players, he loves to do things well.
“But there’s always this duality there, between Ibrahimovic and the rest. Ibrahimovic has only caused damage to this Milan, so I hope he doesn’t do the same with this coach.”
Costacurta: “The impression is that this is a true communications strategy, both low-key and aimed at dampening enthusiasm from the outside. It’s worth noting that this is clearly their modus operandi, and it also applies to the dismissals and lay-offs made at the end of May.”

Why is sLatan the only former player involved in the club for the last three years? MILAN have their own legends (much bigger than him (if we can consider that guy a legend of any club because he changed them as socks), that’s for sure), we don’t need that damn idiot.

Milan’s last scudetto before 2010 was 2004 (accidentally typed a 3 instead 2) I remember both well. As for the conspiracy theories I love that stuff but at the same time the truth in all that is very obscure (and knowing what kind of man Silvio was I wouldn’t be shocked if Milan actually were cheating)
For the 2010 season the reality is if you actually watched in stead of just googling stats you’d know Ibra was the leader of that team hands down. Robinho was routinely criticized (given the Leao treatment) and Pato was fading fast.

I don’t know what you mean by “the merit” but by 06 sheva was gone, Kaka is definitely up there but how many titles did he lead Milan to as Milan’s best player? Sheva was at Milan for seven years, man, do I really need to compare them? I could’ve easily mentioned Dida and Nesta and Inzaghi and I wouldn’t be mistaken I already explained that I consider those two “scudetti” Milan’s, we were also robbed in the CL semis two decades ago and we all what happened in 2004 and 2005. Seedorf wasn’t on the back side when he joined us nor was he too old for a significant period while he was playing for us, force of nature.
