There are several talking points surrounding AC Milan currently, and Fabio Capello has looked into a few of them today.
It is getting towards the business end of the season, and with Milan in the Scudetto fight, there are several questions surrounding them and their hopes for the season. Of course, the biggest regards their ability to push on for the title.

However, their fate could be decided this month, with the calendar packed with fixtures. As a result, topics such as the mercato and the rotation of certain players will be big, and Milan must ensure that they are overlooked.
Capello’s words
Speaking to Marca, Capello first looked at Rafael Leao and how he compares to one Spanish team in particular, as MilanPress relays.
“Real Madrid players today have never pressed, never, and they won’t. They didn’t even press under Ancelotti. It’s one thing to drop back and get into an area where they can help the team, but do you really want them to press?
“They don’t have that ability, they can’t do it. It’s the same with Leao at Milan. We’re talking about players who, when they have the ball, hurt the opposition, and when the team doesn’t have it, they should drop back, but not to press.”
He then continued the Real Madrid theme, touching on Luka Modric’s situation.
“Luka is tired, a little tired, even though he’s playing very well. Real Madrid’s midfield no longer has great quality.”
Finally, he then spoke about Milan’s need to implement more Italians into the squad.
“Milan has one Italian in the starting eleven; Juventus has only two; Inter four or five; Roma two or three. This is the key. We don’t have many opportunities for the future. The training system has failed; there are too many tactics and too little football. This is the problem in Italy.”
Well the guy who manages the team is Italian, so there’s that.
We now have 2 starters: Gabbia and Bartesaghi.
Hoping Ricci or Camarda (in future) could be in.
I watched Camarda in his last game. He was just OK. Right now, he is where he should be- a lower level team. He’s young, so we’ll see how he develops.
Genoa is a good game to rotate against.

Well, maybe Italian players should improve. Look at the top teams in the EPL, it’s not like they are overloaded with English players. I think Arsenal have two starters, Rice and Saka and Man City have two or three.
Looks like every country has the issue with domestic players. Looking at my country (Austria)… well.. club football is literally dead and everyone has fourth class playes from abroad but now own growns… Albeit we have the best national Team we ever had, with ALL of the squad playing somewhere in the world.
