Former AC Milan coach Fabio Capello claims that the Rossoneri were missing two fundamental ingredients when they lost 2-1 against Parma last weekend.
Speaking during an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Radio Rossonera), Capello explained that some mentality changes are needed within Paulo Fonseca’s side if the results are going to improve quickly.
Milan have started the season poorly, drawing 2-2 with Torino after being 2-0 down until the 89th minute, and then losing 2-1 to Parma in a game that could have had a much worse scoreline for the Rossoneri if the newly-promoted side were more clinical.
Paulo Fonseca needs to see improvements from his side but they have a tougher game against Lazio to come this weekend.
As far as Capello is concerned, Milan were missing team spirit and a desire to fight for one another at the Stadio Ennio Tardini and that is something that the coach must sort out quickly.
“Let’s hope that Fonseca will be able to find the necessary formula because so far we have seen a lot of disorder and very little will on the part of the players. There are games in which team spirit and the will to fight are fundamental, and these things have not yet appeared at Milan,” Capello said.
Milan are going to find out their Champions League group stage opponents this evening and that will give Fonseca and the players an even clearer view of the task that lies ahead of them this season.
Spirit and desire to fight is really one thing, not two.
He he was looking for a second thing we were missing he could have said “a vague understanding of a game plan”
He didn’t need to stop there though, he could have thrown in a third and said “anyone even half-equipped to play in a high-line double pivot”
Capello is commenting about Milan almost everyday, just give him the damn job he seems obsessed haha

3rd thing was accuracy. Lots of shoots and majority didn’t test the goalie
Fonseca is yet to show any sign he is capable to lead this team. His press after Parma is very very worrying.

AC Milan it’s a very big club and its history its rich .
I believe we need a coach with a strong statue who has coached teams in the championship league .We do not want average results we need wins .l hope the investors should understand this .
