This morning’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport, as seen below, states that the work has not stopped after the substantial acquisition of Goncalo Ramos. Indeed, the €70+ million move is only the first in a long plan for signings.
So, Cardinale and Amorim met in Lisbon, alongside Hendrik Almstadt and Bobby Gardiner, to plan their next steps forward, with the meeting lasting for around four hours.
Throughout the meeting, several ideas were discussed and analysed and whilst Amorim wants to assess the squad personally, he does not want to be unprepared for the mercato. So, the ideas are there for reinforcements.

Big thanks to Furliani and co who successfully freed Milan from financial burdening. Now we can spend massively without relying budget from selling star. I’ve been tired read so many difference between what coach wanted with other executives. You can blame each others all days, but in the end only result being remembered. I hope this approach going well
Of course, only the result at the end of the next season will be the measure of success. Somehow, at the beginning of the last few years, i was always optimistic, watching the transfers of solid players and the plans of new smart coaches, only to have it all slowly dissipate into just another opportunity during the season. Even last season was pretty good until the last few rounds, when everything incomprehensibly went to waste. I sincerely hope that Cardinale learned something more about running a football club, because in the future we will again be looking for trophies like a blind hen for a grain of wheat.
The transfer activities was good, we only failed because of Allegri ball, and that is our biggest asset going into the new season. We can never be that bad under Amorim.
