Gerry Cardinale was present at AC Milan’s last game and he should be there for the season finale on Sunday too.
According to this morning’s La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), despite his busy schedule in the United States and Europe, Cardinale is expected at San Siro on Sunday evening to support the team in the decisive match for Milan’s Champions League qualification.

As he did a few days ago in Genoa, the RedBird boss wants to be alongside Massimiliano Allegri and the players in the final match of the season. He was even in the dressing room before and after the last match, too.
Driven by ‘passion’
What’s driving Cardinale back to Italy is ‘his passion for his team’. Those who saw him at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris a few days ago assure that he was very involved in the match and was ‘impressed by the team’s desire to secure the three points’.
In recent days, there has been renewed talk of Cardinale selling a minority stake in Milan, but sources close to the Rossoneri owner have categorically denied the possibility.
The paper states that there will be no Milan-related partnership with the Ellison family, one of the most powerful in the United States when it comes to the world of media.
Cardinale and the Ellisons are already in business and were key players in Paramount’s major acquisition of Warner Bros., but Milan remain solely owned by RedBird, who want to bring a second star (20th Scudetto).

Hahahahahha, nice little PR move. Attend 2 games, make up a story about interest so you can deny the day later and show everyone how committed you are.
Unlike you and I this guy may have business to attend. Main thing is he has a huge stake to lose or win, at the end of the day if you look at the numbers what else do you want from the owner. I do not understand, when things are good, he is guilty, when things are sour he is guilty, when he comes he is guilty, when he doesn’t he does not care. Even Berlusconi did not show for every game, come on man, this is a hobby for him, and while at it, he is making some money. Thanks god there is laws protecting ownership, some commies here would take the club away from him
Commies? Who wants to take club from who? Wtf are you talking about? Yes, I was about to suggest that someone should confiscate the club from him, that is what my comment about a PR stunt meant. 🥹🥹🥹
Cardinale showed up as fans began to protest, he doesn’t give a f. He wants to build the stadium and sell the club for a few billion profit. That is his only interest. If you buy these stories it’s fine, I don’t’ mind. But don’t try to convince me to be as stupid as you are. I can’t even if I try really hard.
100% The problem is that doesn’t happen until 2031 or so? So in the meantime if the fans protest often enough maybe he’ll PR this team into something more efficient and functional on the sporting side.
Beliau (CARDINALE) Tidak layak sebagai pemilik,di tambah lagi CEO FURLANI Yang tidak sebagai CEO. Terlalu ikut campur dalam pembelian Pemain yang berkualitas. Dengan Mereka Berdua memimpin MILAN,TIDAK ADA AMBISINYA UNTUK MEMBAWA MILAN JUARA SCUDETTO,JUARA LIGA CHAMPION,JUARA ANTAR DUNIA DAN JUARA EROPA. KALAU MILAN MASUK LIGA CHAMPIONS,APA AMBISI MEREKA BERDUA UNTUK MILAN?APAKAH MEREKA HANYA MEMBAWA MILAN UNTUK MENGEJAR UANG ATAU MEMBAWA MILAN MENJADI JUARA LIGA CHAMPION?
Yes, that is the point. That is why I support criticizing him as much as possible, protests etc. This is the only way he’ll understand, if there is talk of him being bad at what he’s doing it is ruining his reputation and I think he values that more than anything. I mean Elliot fund that got the club randomly did better than him. And his pitch to investors is that Redbird capital is some sort of sports investment and management powerhouse. He needs to keep his reputation to attract investors. That is why he is 100% a better owner than the Ellison family that was mentioned the other day. They don’t care, they just want to make a profit and they don’t answer to anyone. Gerry does.
Well said bro! Cardinale and RedBird need go. We need passionate owner with money and Maldini back on the wheel. I’m sure if our club legend come back, AC Milan be back too
And hobby, yes those rich people invested their money into Redbird capital so Gerry plays around doing his hobbies. You don’t even seem to understand the basics of what an investment fund is. He is investing other peoples money (and partly his) to make more money. Not to have fun, enjoy, win titles, none of this. There is 0 talk about this in the investment plan when they present it to investors. They sell the investment on Milans history and how it is undervalued for what it is. And that they can raise value and sell for a x3, x10 or whatever from the amount of purchase. That is what he is doing.
– I do not understand, when things are good, he is guilty –
and when was that exactly, of his 4 years ownership?
me and i also think most of the Milan fans only care about Milan win the trophies, i don’t care if he’s busy, or how often he attending the match per season, or how much he spend his money (mostly it came from the players sale anyway, also he and his management use it only to buy useless players).
and if you think this is one of his hobbies, maybe he should get another hobby.
commies?
put your political view elsewhere, this is football
Exactly… He thinks that we are stupid. I hope he gets a warm welcome from the fans!!! #CARDINALEFUORIDALC…!!!!!
Well, most people are, you can see from the comment above. He knows that so these types of statements obviously work. Some people will eat any sh*t you serve to them, and happily.
Yet, Milan won the title and played in semi finals of CL while he wasn’t owning the club, since he took over we need to be happy about being 3rd and the “numbers”.
The irony of Max talking about how people are stupid when he believes every piece of fake gossip and rumor that he reads on this site…
Max acting like he’s in the boardroom and knows exactly what everyone’s plan is.
It’s always the foolish people who talk the loudest.
So you want to tell me that if someone comments it means they believe everything? Even though over 50% of my comments are how the article is nonsense? You’re a genius. 😂😂
You don’t need to be in the boardroom to understand what Cardinale is doing. You just need to observe and pay attention.
What actions in the last 4 years have shown you that Cardinale’s focus is on our sporting side?
Now, what actions over the last 4 years have shown you that Cardinale’s focus is on our financial stability?
Compare and contrast.
ACM1899 What would you like him to do? He’s the owner, he doesn’t make football decisions. Whether he attends the games or not makes no difference to anyone. Do you think the players will play harder if he is there in the stadium rather than watching on TV? Who cares?
Has he spent money? Yes. More than the previous owners. He can’t just come in and spend a ton of money and but a bunch of superstars like Belusconi, there are financial fair play rules now. Would you like to see Milan get fined and points deducted. Would that show you that he cares?
If he didn’t care about winning why would he keep making coaching changes? Why fire Pioli? Why FIre Fonseca after half a season and bring in Conceicao? Why fire him and pay Tare and Allegri more money?
You can argue that the moves haven’t been good ones but to say that he isn’t trying to win is just untrue.
And how exactly is financial stability a bad thing? It’s a good thing for a club. Do you remember the ten year period before Elliott took over. The club didn’t win anything, couldn’t even make Champions League and was a financial mess. These are the same things people were saying about Elliott before they brought the club it’s first Scudetto in ten years. People have a short memory.
Nobody said nothing about Elliot as they brought in proper football people to be in charge of the club. You are lying. They brought in Gazidis, Maldini and Massara to be in charge, Gazidis as the main guy and then M&M for the sporting, football side. After the first scudetto and playing in CL semi finals this clown fired them because of what Maldini knew is necessary to continue winning. Cardinale knew better and here we are.
It’s simple really. Bring in competent people. Follow Inter’s model – continuity and competence. Assign a budget and proceeds from sales and let the SD and Coach figure it out. Keep the money men out of it.
When you don’t know something surround yourself with people who do.
Yes max, I was on here and people were saying the same ignorant things about Elliott that you are saying about Redbird.
“stupid American businessmen that don’t care about winning and only care about making a profit. ” Same exact thing. And then they won the Scudetto and everyone here pretends like they weren’t saying that.
Well Elliot didn’t care about winning but about the profit. That is 100% true. They did what is the smartest thing to do. Let football people lead the club and made a big profit from selling. Cardinale the clown couldn’t even follow what was established and build on that. It is not the same, not even similar.
Reality is, Cardinale and Redbird bought a Scudetto winning club that got into semi finals of CL in their first season, with the team they didn’t build. And after that season it started to regress. Elliot got a club that was in disarray and built something, so they can make a profit, not win. But it went hand in hand because they were smart.
Again Max using his insider knowledge or perhaps ESP to pretend to know what other people were caring about or thinking. This comment section is like a mental asylum.
The fact is that Elliott did win, returning milan to Champions League play and delivering the club it’s first Scudetto in 10 years all while dragging this club out of massive debt and making it financially stable again.
If we let any of you geniuses run the club you would throw money the club doesn’t have at a bunch of overpaid superstars, leave the club a wreck and in massive debt that it would take a decade to get out of, just to show how much you care about winning!
*Milan-Cagliari (we already played against Genoa)
En hycklare och Anale
I’m not buying any of this BS
