Cardinale annoyed

CM: Cardinale aware and ‘annoyed’ about Milan fan protests – the situation

Gerry Cardinale recently extended the vendor loan owed to buy AC Milan, hoping it would raise faith in him. However, this has not happened, and the pot is now bubbling.

This season has been difficult for everyone involved, and fans have recently begun to show their anger. There has, of course, always been the occasional frustration, but there have rarely been extended protests, but Sunday’s game told a tale.

Milan played out a 1-1 draw with Roma, a poor result in the grand scheme of things which can be added to a catalogue of similar results and off the pitch, protests continued.

Once again, Cardinale was told to sell the club by the chanting supporters, of which the number and volume have grown in recent weeks, and according to Calciomercato.com, the owner is very much aware of things.

As their report states, the American had hoped that the news of the vendor loan extension would increase confidence in his position, so the fact that the protests are ongoing has ‘annoyed him’. In fact, the situation as a whole is frustrating him.

Winning the first trophy of his era is a must for the American, and he will hope that any success lowers the frustrations, but right now it is difficult to see that admittedly.

  1. Duhh. Football fans are not the same as Yankee fans. Football to these fans is passionate and way of life almost. As in Yankees fans are ok with loosing and not winning anything, bit they still show to the stadiums, maybe it’s the hotdogs.

      1. According to google, last time they won anything is 2009, and yet it’s still a hot merchandise. While in football going that long without winning anything, translates to less revenue. Hell,
in Berlusconi’s era our Milan was the hottest brand out there, because they were winning. Anyways go back to baseball and don’t forget those hot dogs.

        1. If you’re comparing the world series to winning the league, you’re an idiot lol The World series has playoffs, etc closer to the Champions league. Winning the league is closer to winning the Pennant in the AL. Which the Yankees did last year. If you’re going to comment, at least. Be remotely close

        2. The Yankees were in the championship games last season and always have one of or the highest payroll in the league. The ticket prices are high and only for the rich corporations like Gerry’s types, the regular everyday fan is priced out, so the fans close to the field are a bunch of rich idiots that don’t know much about the game (again like Gerry) but have a lot of money and want to post picture of them at the game.

      2. Bro New York has a huge enough population to create critical ma.ss thereby ensuring enough attendance for planned revenue just simply through casual fans and I’m guessing he think Milan as it’s a big city would yield the sAme results. He probably doesn’t realize the divide in the city and the nuances of club support in Europe compared to the States. The Yankees pretty much have enough population to sustain an 80 percent attendance rate. Plus they haven’t won anything in 20 years bar one world series. They’ve only recently made it to the world series again and that time span was basically the same time span Gerry boasts about in his interviews about “succeeding” with the Yankees. If that’s what he has planned for us, it’s going to be a rough 20 years ahead

        1. You should eithe become Inter fan or analyst. We do not have the results but same goes for few big clubs now regardless of how much they sped. You need a vision and strategy to achieve results not just money.

Cardinale has all that, or would you rather prefer us to waste money and hooe we get lucky. This guy is moving stadium project ahead, has invensted tons of money, making a lot of good decissions so good times and stability are ahead of us.

Not sure what else one can do in order to please you and yours alike? Dont foreget same ultras booed Maldini as well, I personaly do not have any high opinion of them other then able to xreate a good atmosphere, they should stick to that and not club management.

          1. the only good thing about this management is financial account.. stadium project practically on hold, stuck between fix/buy san siro with inter or build a new stadium.. vision and strategy are not clear whatsoever.. the only thing that will please fans is winning trophies as much as you can.. in football, good times and stability are always in line with trophies..

          2. You’re new here lol 😂
Me an Inter fan? Maldini and the ultras? You’re definitely new here if that’s what you’re posting of me LMAO 🤣🤣🤣

  2. Why would him not having enough funds make us more confident?

Which decisions should have instilled confidence? firing Maldini who gave him realistic report? hiring delusional “all-talk” Ibra and promoting “Ligue 1 one-trick pony” Moncada?

We currently don’t have a fixed 11, most players value dropped this season, we sit at 8, we have no proper connection with Italian teams and for some reason about to gift Calabria and Tomori to Juve…

At the same time failing to sign proper players except for Morata (just for his price, 13M is ridiculous), Reijnders, Fofana, and Pulisic…

    1. And let’s not even go to the whole “our garbage is someone else’s diamonds” as pretty much every player we sent away this summer have been better than 90% of our squad this season. 😛

      1. Pobega, Adli, Alexis, Kalulu are having definitely great seasons. At least those 4 + Colombo, Vasquez, Romero deals will generate quite a big sum for us in the summer. But top 4 is a must… Scudetto dream is done this season

I just pray that they won’t do Sergio as dirty as they did with Fonseca cause I seriously think he can make us into a great team. He just needs few pieces…

Vanderson for RB, CM/CDM to partner with Fofana and LW/ST (Pepe form Porto? for ST I guess J.David?) depending which primary formation Conceicao picks (he used 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1, and 4-3-3)… I think 4-4-2 would be a great solution to some of our currently struggling players while also giving stability in both phases

Cherry on top is that his son only has a verbal deal with Juve, he can easily change his mind next summer and come to us, lmao…

        1. U still think top 4 is possible?????
          Hope Sergio motivates the team….
Fonseca had issues with players while coaching Roma and Lille hope dressing room is safe under Sergio

          1. Napoli, Inter, Atalanta will take top 3 but Lazio and Juve aren’t that tough of an opponents, even more if we finally get our $hit together…

      1. It depends on the playing style… Tomori was just a very expensive sub that couldn’t fit Fonseca’s system… In no way have I ever thought that he was rubbish… It just made sense to sell him now until his value dropped even lower.

Rubbish are RLC, Okafor, Jovic… (broken players that reached their limits)

Calabria is also just not right fit for us. He and Emerson are too slow and I would have preferred to keep Captain over Royal Blunder but no one will take him for 15M… both are very defensive and Fonseca/Conceicao need attacking fullbacks…

  3. He’s annoyed that the supporters aren’t cheering at the extension of the vendor loan? LOL!!!

I have a small hope that extending the loan now creates more of a buffer in which to spend and reinforce the team. It given who’s in charge of the spending it fades what little hope I had left.

  4. Milan fans are idiots. First they cry Maldini out, then pioli out etc…. Nothing positive.
Maybe better to go to mother’s breast and cry.

    1. Nobody wanted maldini out ,you lie just like cardinale, maybe he is ur dad??
And fans wanted pioli out,but with improved replacement, nobodY wanted fonseca to replace him for sure you dog$hit

        1. I certainly didn’t want him out so just because a few misguided people and trolls maybe with several accounts wanted him out it doesn’t mean it was the majority that wanted that to happen. In fact I’ve always backed Maldini as he did a great job with lesser cash and more restraints than the current management.

Come to think about it there even was an interview with former inter player Zanetti or Bergomi (?) who said he hoped Maldini wouldn’t return to AC Milan after his sacking.
What does that tell you ? Maldini did a great job is the answer you should look for.

        2. Everyone wanted Maldini out? Is that so? Lol 😂 must be only you and a few of your buddies…and maybe the curva who don’t like him. Otherwise there’s no way anyone can seriously say they’d want him out

          1. Don’t bother, they’re out of excuses so they’re making stuff up cause they won’t admit they were wrong in their naive and false narrative against previous management, knowing damn well they were successful unlike these clowns.

          2. I disagree, people with your thinking wanted him out. Besides i dont think he did that well.

For me Tare in Lazio did miracles eith very small fund at disposal. Go and check his record.

I am optimistic Seegio will do good with current players, nothing wrong with our squad, they just need to olay as a team

          3. @Milanezi you’re new here so I’ll excuse you. You can’t look at my username and claim I want Maldini out. That’s just preposterous.
You talk about Tare as some genius. He had the same budget (at least transfer-wise) as Maldini and Maldini…a rookie director won more than him, did better in the league than him and better in Europe than him. Lazio are a waste of space of a UCL spot.
In case you’re wondering I’m a long time poster, this is what I wrote last year, 6 June 2023, 22:57 at 10:57 pm:
“Tare became sporting director in 2009-10 season (he received his licence in April of 09). That makes it [at least , sic] 14 seasons at the helm and….

….his best accomplishment in the league after so many years was *drum roll please* 2nd and that was this year 🤔 [22-23 sic]. Assuming [starting, sic] the 09-10 season, Lazio can get as low as 12th and as high as 2nd. In those 15 seasons, Lazio have qualified only 3 times for the UCL, once with Pioli as the helm mind you when they finished 3rd in the league. They’ve finished between 5th and 8th 8 times out of those 14 years and the rest were below 8th place. Further to his “great work”, he won the Coppa 2x and runners up 2x. Outstanding (sarcasm, sic).
Highest achievement in UCL was R16 and the other time didn’t even make it out of quali because……..as you’ve guessed Lazio didn’t strengthen the squad. Perennial Europa League team but only have gone up to the quarter finals as the best result.”

Tare last 3 seasons: Europa, Europa, UCL ie 6th, 5th, 2nd.
Maldini last 3 seasons: UCL, UCL, UCL ie 2nd, 1st, 4th

You don’t think rookie Maldini did that well yet he outperformed experienced Tare. Smh 🤷‍♂️

PS: I wish Sergio well obviously!

        1. You call yourself King of football and you typed that Maldini blew it.
Are you just typing to fulfill a quota, or is there a brain up there.

Because if you followed Maldini work well at Milan, one would know he did not blow anything up, as he was not a demolitions expert.

But just out of curiosity oh kingoffootball please what did Maldini blow up, and how did he blow it up.

        2. If Maldini blew it and had to be fired, then these clowns running the show now deserve to be banned from running any football club ever again.

    2. Like the toxicity is so much… There is nothing the management can do to get them satisfied, they will always complain especially the ones in this platform

      1. Let me ask you a question, has the management ever done anything right to satisfy anyone.
Or ever since Maldini was fired, has anything been done right?? Was his sacking even right.

You complain of the same thing you accuse others of doing. What is the management doing that can be considered right for others not to complain??

      2. Second time you’ve complained about toxicity on this very site…. thereby being toxic yourself. Have you checked other platforms? This is a utopia compared to say Reddit where they’re tearing Gerry a new hole each day lol
Since you’re new here, buckle up and enjoy the show. No need to spout these modern day slangs that don’t mean sh!t.
Toxic? What does that even mean? Any little disagreement equals toxic these days. That we all, including previous red birdies, are in agreement that management sucks doesnt mean toxic but moreso consensus haha 😂

Wait a minute…Gerry? Is that you? Lol 😂

    3. I didn’t see much crying when we won the scudetto. True Milan fans know the history and won’t settle for 8th place. We want trophies every year. But what does a 11-year-old Jucci know anything about winning? Probably nothing.

  5. Bahaha, reality is setting in. These aren’t just casual fans, you won’t just see a decrease in ticket sales like you would in Cleveland or Jacksonville. Gerry is learning what it means to own an Italian football team. Now that they’ve made these very weak looking moves in first backing down from their #1 choice and going with Fonseca (while avoiding Conceicao all together) and now going with Conceicao after apparently not agreeing to terms with Sarri. This is equivalent to dumping shark feed into the water and being shocked when a shark shows up. The protests will only grow. If we don’t get to 5th position by March and we’re out of the coppa Italia, these protests will get even worse.

    1. From murican land clowndinale make decision. It is time to sacrifice fonseca, hope curva and fans satisfied and stop the protest.

        1. Clowndinale: “yes milanezi, we just need to think about profit, this is trophyless cardinale milan. Damn that milan fans and curva.”

  6. He can be as annoyed as he wants to be maybe then he will start to understand the fans that we have other goals than just mustering good financial bottom line numbers which accidentally also was done by the previous ownership and not with his guidance.
We want to win and I doubt Winning the Super Coppa or Coppa Italia will change much for a great deal of the fans as those trophies are held pretty low in many peoples view. Obviously we should attempt to win where we can win as we always should do in all competitions but winning the Super Coppa wont change a thing in my view.
Either win Scudettos or CL trophies or club world cups, the rest is just icing on the cake.
If the management doesn’y get out of their comfort zone in the winter mercato and buys some real upgrades and starters to the team then we know everything we needs to know about this ownership and the protests should seriously intensify.

    1. They won’t buy anyone in the window. They had multiple opportunities and plenty proof over the last seasons the team had to be improved. They didn’t do anything.

      1. I think they wont as well but if they actually want the fans to back them and qualify for CL next season then they better do it and pull out some cash and get us some MR.X’es and I’m not talking about some cheap Frenchmen or something in that vein.

  7. Since Mr Cardinale has been at the helm he’s done nothing short of damage taking ACM backwards in the process. What does he expect…… The man’s unthinkable..!

  8. He has positive balance sheets with the fans’ money. The fans pay to see a winning team, not to enrich Gerry. It is like every entertainment business. You earn money by producing entertaining performances, by doing what your public wants to see. Big club fans want to see trophies.

      1. Although Milan are a rival club, I dislike the way Gerry is treating the fans. He talks about Milan’s value going to 2 billion, 3 billion, 5 billion. Those billions are the fans’ money; if they withdraw their money, Gerry’s value goes to zero. And yet the management seems to be arrogant, trying to deceive fans with cheap mercato and cheap coaches, while talking somewhere in an interview about raising ticket and merchandise prices. This is almost a scam misusing fan’s good will.

        1. To think. The rival side understands traditions and heritage more than Milan’s owners, management and most fans.
          This are truly troubling times

          1. Bro, that’s not a rival. He’s just afraid we’d bash him if he was a Milan fan so he uses “Inter” as a ruse. There’s no way I’m spending that much time on my rivals

        1. We were bankrupt before not inter.
Inter never went into bankrupt because of some expensive purchase but because of his owner who went into bankrupt due to his other businesses
Either Cardinale nor you have any sh!t in your brain
          .

  9. Extending a vendor LOAN with more interest payments for a longer period of time was supposed to calm the fans and this is after he said he cares about his INVESTORS first and not the fans or winning titles – AND – he thought we would be happy with that??????

My lord this guy is more delusional than we all thought. WOW

    SELL THE CLUB YOU A$$🤡

  10. This Is No Yankee Team in Milan !!! !!! !!!

Bring your boy (who has a Milan shirt here on his profile pic) with you! And exit Milan, Cardinal 🤡

  11. Dude is admitting to having no intent in improving the club’s sporting project with the required investments and has no passion for the team, nor sport. I couldn’t stand his guts from the start. I could tell he is arrogant, ignorant, pompous and self-absorbed. He has completely turned this team into a farce and shadow of what he inherited. He couldn’t sell quicker. Nothing will bring any confidence to him or his team. They proved to be incompetent time after time,

  12. What this American wanna be doesnt understand is that example I‘am a AC Milan Fan since I watched my first game against Juventu‘s I was 7 year‘s old, and it goes through Family Heritage and we have love and Passion. We can divorce out wife and get a new one but not the Football club it remain‘s always the Same !!!

  13. In Hans Landa’s words: “Oooo, that’s a bingo!”

Keep it up boys, let’s show this greasy cowboy how things stand across the pond🍿

  14. I’m annoyed as well. I would have thought the fans in attendance would have more intelligence than the clowns who post online. How does a change in ownership guarantee success? That’s right, it doesn’t. It’s no guarantee whatsoever. The imbeciles complaining about the positive balance sheets have short memories, that’s why we were hit with fines by UEFA, because of debts. Similarly, those who think Arab billionaires will save the club don’t pay attention to football finances (unlike the people who run Milan) because Newcastle are now the richest club on the planet and prevented by PSR from investing heavily. Newcastle spent €148 million last season and €68 million this. In fact, this season, because of PSR, they took in more from player sales (€76 million).

    1. Hahahahahahaha – again this 🤡🤡🤡🤡 @uberhulk

We all know you’re a HUGE Redbird Lover and probably have pics of Gerry up on your bedroom wall at moms house.

BUT – for the real fans – we don’t care who the owner is only that they want what us true fans want – someone to RESPECT the history of the club and its fans and try everything you can to win TITLES. We don’t want a dude who says his INVESTORS come first and fans and winning titles are down the list.

You are obviously not a true fan and are more concerned about some rich A$$hole and how much $$ HE makes – than the direction of the club.

You may as well go and support Inter kid lol

      1. Your lack of understanding of how football clubs run is embarrassing. Ignoring facts doesn’t help your argument, rather it exposes your limited intellect and immaturity. You don’t have an argument.

      2. Uberhulk? The one who said no coach was available in the summer? Then said no young coach was available in the summer? Then probably said no left handed coach with a tattoo on their left ear was available in the summer? That dude ? Lol 🤣
Ppl dont understand you can compartmentalize financial from sporting aspects…. And PS to Hulk…it’s the sporting side real fans care about. Do get us wrong we’re miles ahead of what Li and tail end of Berlusconi era left us…. just in case you’re wondering

    2. If I am one of those you call imbeciles you should watch your mouth and know Milan is not under UEFA restraints any longer and hasn’t been so for some time,

Milan had positive numbers when RedBird took over the club due to Elliot managements + Gazzidis + MM’s and the teams work predating RedBirds arrival. Hence why Cardinales spending was done on the back of their work not his.
I’ll give the man so much though that he has increased some of the advertisement deals but even that was done on the backs of their work as we had increased our visibility due to our progress in both winning a Scudetto and reaching the CL semis which made the clubs appeal rise again.

My memory in this club by the way goes 35 years back and soon to be 36 years and never wanted an Arab owner at the helm of the club.

      1. Correct, the positive financial standing is because of a hedge fund running the club like a business and that’s exactly what the new investors are doing. They’re not going to un-do the foundations laid by Elliot because of the racist, anti-American sentiment ‘demanding’ more signings – as if €200+ million in 2 seasons isn’t enough! They have addressed some of the failings of Elliot’s management i.e. losing stars for nothing by tying down Leao and selling Tonali for a big profit. They have also established Futuro and are trying to move ahead with a new stadium.

Sure, they have made mistakes, namely Moncada and Ibrahimovic, but then this is the first football club they have owned. Given you’re obviously an adult, to not take that into account and moan like a teenager is beyond embarrassing. They’ve been in charge for 18 months. Of course they’re going to make mistakes. If they didn’t and don’t address those mistakes, then you have a reason to complain. They got rid of Pioli, which was clearly the right thing to do. They tried Fonseca, thinking he was the best option of those available, it failed, they hired a coach many wanted, Conceicao. So, again, what are you complaining about? Because you’re so naïve and live in some sort of fantasy world in which football owners don’t mention profits and investment? You think some billionaire is going to buy the club and return it to former glories by adopting a different approach? That isn’t the case anywhere. All clubs, save for the crooks PSG, have to comply with rules that are designed to prevent clubs from spending beyond their means, and that includes EPL clubs like Liverpool, Newcastle and even Chelsea, who for all their record spending in the past 2 years, have also taken in over €475 million in player sales. Football is a business. Berlusconi also saw it as a business, he was all for TV money and a European Super league, he wanted guarantees on his investment. That he clearly adored the club doesn’t change that fact.

        1. He accuses someone of living in a fantasy and praises Redbird, while. Living in a fantasy himself about Klopp coming to head Milan, despite facts and evidences that say otherwise. 😂🤣🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣

I swear you Redbird boys are. Just blind to what’s in front of you right. And then he says Redbird has made some few mistakes like it’s some few.

😂🤣😂🤣 Good God man. He says they hired Fonseca because they thought, really they thought Fonseca would help the team really.

Even your overlord Gerry admitted Tonali was sold, not because the club needed to but because they saw it was good money, the same Tonali now that is desperately needed. They wasted 200 million and yet not one single trophy😂🤣🤣🤣😂

Even Cardinale came out to bare it all. Out and yet you still continue to live in delusion and naivete and fantasy.

GO and put down that device. The Redbird brainwashing is too hot now.

Redbird singlehandedly brought about every woes they face now, and yet the fans should cheer for them and praise them with their business model.

And then he compares Newcastle to milan🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ the sheer brain dead logic to compare the two clubs.

I will tell you so you can hear it. Milan would be better of with a new owner. At least an owner who actually cares for the club.

Keeps on mentioning futuro and 200 million like those two has benefited Milan in anyway.

The sheer stupidity shown by Redbird supporters boils my soul. They would never admit Redbird is clueless and destructive even when the management and ownership tells them so. They are just as bad as their management. Looking for blame while not admitting they are wrong.

At least Maldini had a plan that was working. Tell me which trophy does Redbird have again?? Is it the financial trophy that Elliot created, the futuro trophy that is going nowhere presently or the 209 million trophy that has been wasted.
Oo oh oh wait is it the there was no coach, there was no young coach, there was no available coach trophy you lielke to spew trophy. Because you live in the same delusions and fantasy you accuse people of. Fans should not complain about what they love, because it hurts your fragile love for Redbird. Disgusting….

          1. You made no points.
Because if you are guilty of what you accuse people of that’s called HYPOCRISY.

And it refutes any so called point you might have. It’s just what have yous and all that.

        2. 😀 Absolutely priceless a guy/boy who calls himself uberhulk and makes up bs en masse tells me that i moan like a teenager and lives in a fantasy world. Enough said dumbo and by the way I’m not anti American as a lot of my heroes are in fact Americans and neither did I demand us to spend like Chelsea.

          1. You are either mistaking me for someone else or you really must be an incredibly confused individual as I haven’t mentioned him being American up until now so how about you stop trolling and making up bs but guess that is too much to expect from a toddler calling himself superhulk.

    3. Your lack of understanding is even more bizzare than your lack of change.

And that’s saying something. I think. You forgot to add your 200 million blather.

And yes you are a Redbird banner man. Stop with all these exegesis and admit.

You are what we call a collaborator.

        1. Ah so a collaborator does. Not exist in the so called developed worlds.

So if we peruse through history there is no such thing as a collaborator.

          🤣😂🤣🤣🙄😒🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
Man just continue with that Redbird coolaid. I can’t with you.

You just spout of delusions and fantasies and then double down on said fantasies.

Throwing stones in a glass house. 🤣😂🤣🤣

    4. “How does a change in ownership guarantee success?”

Lol Kids .. This is what happens when your braincell count drops to zero. Eat your veggies.

      1. It’s a rhetorical question. You don’t understand what a rhetorical question is, do you? It’s a question asked to make a point, the point being a change of ownership doesn’t guarantee success. It doesn’t matter who the owners are or how much money they have if they make the wrong hires i.e. the coach and directors.

    5. What are you babbling about now? Changing your narrative as the wind blows are you?

Elliott balanced the checkbooks won a Scudetto ahead of their schedule. All because football people handle football and the money people handle money. They handed a financially stable club that started to compete for trophies again to Gerry but he was like, no thanks we’re good.

      1. I haven’t changed my narrative, unlike you hypocrites, who were slinging mud at Elliott for being cheap, at Gazidis and others for losing players on free transfers, I have been consistent in having patience with non footballing people coming into the sport.

        1. LOL. Überhulk is trying really hard to make new friends here by insutltain and attacking everyone for every comment. 😀 😀 😀

Once a clown, always a clown.

        2. And now the hypocrite calls other hypocrites.

🤣😂 I am having so much fun laughing that I can’t believe someone out there actually reasons like this.

Mr uberhulk, man you really do disgrace to that name. Anyway where were you and your defense counsel when Maldini was on the hangman noose. Where were you when Maldini was been butchered in the comments section for the good work that he did.

Is it because Maldini spoke up against the incompetence of Redbird on the sporting side, that you were stricken blind and deaf and dumb with selectivity. Because I can swear I never saw an uberhulk stand up for him. He would have needed that.

Or are you Poli or Giancarlo. These two or one person cosplaying as two were quite the nuisance. Blind followers of Redbird and clueless too kinda like you.

Is it awww don’t tell me are you them

  15. If this article is made up, it probably reflects the sentiment that ppl have towards what the management..Gerry in particular feels about the club supporters. Because the actions dont really align with passion for the club or its history. We get that he’s the owner but you can’t really be saying shareholders first then fans after in a fan-based company. It’s very out of touch.

    1. What he actually said.

“Winning championships is obviously an important goal. But you have to balance that with winning smart. Inter won the Scudetto last year and then went bankrupt.” Fans want to win the Scudetto every year, but for my investors, they focus on value appreciation.”

And he made those comments during a case study at a Havard Business School so obviously he was addressing the audience on business matters. He wasn’t speaking to a football audience, but of course cowards looking for soundbites ignore the context and use that to push their anti-American narrative.

I didn’t complain about Elliot, I didn’t complain about players leaving on free transfers because I, rightly, argued that if players wants to leave, there’s nothing you can do to get them to sign new contracts, and there are many examples of that. We heard the same tools who complained about Elliot, and Gazidis, the guy who balanced our books and saved out club, came in for ridiculous criticisms from the same imbeciles who now criticism this regime. If owners are taking money out of the club, putting their cronies in key positions. bleeding it dry of its assets and not changing coaches when it’s obvious there needs to be a change, then you can complain.

      1. I’ll advise you to read carefully. First of all I wasn’t only referring to the Harvard speech (the other part being emotional detachment in a different speech but set that aside for a bit). However, at the same time, him giving a speech at Harvard doesn’t mean he’s not the owner of Milan for a couple of hours. What he said at Harvard isn’t super new and what he said there he says it as an owner of a company which is heavily fan-based. It just adds to the understanding of what his intentions truly are.
You forgot the “I get that” part in you quote when it came to fans expectations of winning titles. It read as dismissive and secondary to the next line but I don’t have the video.
For his investors….ie the people who owns the money he’s poured into the club that’s who he needs to satisfy first and his priority….it’s right there in your very own quotes. He doesn’t have to win titles…and which true fan and one which respects the history of the club is ok with that? Are you?

All he needs is top 4 and as far as possible to get a UCL run to maximize brand value (not a bad approach mind you). The thesis, ie the Harvard publication, is predicated on this. However, the customers ie fans feed directly into the ability to do those things. And imo you can’t do that to your customers. Messaging has been poor since he’s arrived and I’m not sure he’s understanding this.

As an aside, It’s funny how he talks of consistency (top 4, UCL etc) and lowering the amplitude of performance volatility,.yet he fired Pioli. This is against his own principles. If anyone that could bring us top 4 and time time challenge for the Scudetto it had to be Pioli. This would have continued to max revenue. Bringing in a new coach increases said performance volatility as we’re witnessing now. Anyways..

What you guys fail also to realize is that most people are only upset on the sporting side…the side where my fan-ness is based on. I’ve always maintained in my comments on this site that Elliot and now continued with Gerry that the commercial aspects and financial side have been very well taken care of and I’m very happy for that. That’s not the problem we or at least I have…

  16. The fundamental here is no coach can give you result with average / mediocre players. You need quality signings who will deliver else you are not in the game.Conceaico will meet the same fate in six months as Fonseca.

  17. Cardinale goal is to sell Milan for a good price. What the curva are contesting is that he doesn’t have the heart and from what we all can see not even the brain to make Milan great again.

  18. Annoyed by what? Honesty? He’s a thoughtless fool who fired a man with ambition for the clueless yes-man Ibra. He couldn’t even be bothered to turn up for the anniversary. Who is he expecting to like him? Even his own mother probably doesn’t care when he walks in
