AC Milan owner Gerry Cardinale will soon tackle the renewal of Adrien Rabiot’s contract, according to a report.
MilanNews state that Cardinale will personally handle Rabiot’s contract renewal. The process of extending the French midfielder’s contract is already underway, so much so that preliminary meetings have already taken place with Véronique Rabiot.

The midfielder’s mother and agent has spoken with the Milan leadership, to begin discussing the terms of a possible agreement. Cardinale will soon meet personally with her to advance the negotiations.
Amorim’s esteem
This is an important sign of Milan’s desire to secure one of the squad’s most important players, and one for whom the head coach Ruben Amorim was full of positions words during his latest press conference.
“I didn’t know him before arriving here, but Adrien is a crucial player for our project. We wanted to keep him, and if the opportunity arises, we’ll have to renew his contract. He knows it,” he said.
“He’s a great professional and has an impressive desire to learn. He helps his team-mates a lot during training. He played in Turin in just three training sessions, yet he was decisive. He’s still far from his best form.”
Rabiot has started both games on the bench so far but provided a meaningful contribution in each of the wins, especially away against Torino when he got an assist and a goal.
