Tuttosport: Cardinale feels Milan’s summer budget should cover two transfer windows

AC Milan owner Gerry Cardinale believes that the summer transfer budget given to Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara should be enough for the summer and the winter transfer windows, a report claims.

As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Milan News), Cardinale has not been willing to grant any additional funds to Maldini and Massara in January for budgeting reasons.

The money that was given to the two directors and spent on the likes of Charles De Ketelaere, Aster Vranckx and Malick Thiaw should have been enough to run into the January transfer window as well.

The board were asked for extra funds to meet the demands for AS Roma attacker Nicolo Zaniolo who is on the market, but they denied the request.

There will not be any fresh cash to spend until the summer transfer window, meaning Milan fans should not expect a new signing in the next few days.
