Despite the frustrations from fans, it appears that there will be no displacement of Giorgio Furlani by Gerry Cardinale at AC Milan.

When it was announced that RedBird had restructured the loan with Elliott Management, there was hope among fans that Furlani could depart. After all, he was an ‘Elliot guy’, having been brought to the club by the former owners.
However, there was no move made then. A few months later and the situation between the fans and Furlani is perhaps more toxic than it ever has been before. The CEO is the target of a removal petition and it seems like things will only get worse before they get better.
Cardinale sees no issues
Despite all the satisfaction about his work and his position at the club, and more importantly, the club’s position under him, no action is expected to be taken.
Calciomercato.com reports that Cardinale and RedBird have left recent meetings feeling ‘satisfaction with the work done’, though this is specifically mentioned with his work to do with the club’s finances.
Despite the sporting side falling short recently, there is optimism from the ownership that Furlani is the right man, based on the work which he has done so far. As the report rounds off with, Furlani’s position isn’t in doubt.
Considering the petition against him and his position, it would be fair to suggest that this isn’t a popular statement.

If Forlomi managed to sell someone for 60 million, with plusvalenza 40 million, and that raise books on black, before 01.07., so on last day of June, cardinale will be so happy that small Forlomi managed, even with clubs “bad result”.
He will raise club value just because operational revenue and balance sheet with positive result.
The club’s depends on the club standing every season. Last season was on the black even if we did not qualify for Europe but becoz we had to sell Reijnders. If we keep slipping every yr from 4th to 7th, we have to sell our best players to keep afloat and which good player will want to join us? The quality of players will be less and less to the point that we have to accept being in Europa league at most.

He takes the finances as a success, and I get it he is there to make money. However, those finances are ok for now because we have been selling our talented players and replaced them for useless ones which nobody will buy for the amount that milan spent. After we sell Mike, Bart, pulisic etc we will be another toulese.
