It appears that Gerry Cardinale will be present at San Siro this weekend for AC Milan’s game against Inter, which could be defining.
Since the new year, Cardinale has been present at the training ground on a few occasions, with his visibility around the club only being seen more. Indeed, reports have suggested that he wants to become more central, and he is definitely going about it in the right way.
Now, as Gazzetta dello Sport reports, he will take the next step.
Cardinale in town
Earlier in the season, Cardinale was criticised for not being present in the earlier derby in the season. In fact, his last appearance watching the club was in November 2024, so it has certainly been a while.
Now, though, it seems that he is ready to return to the centre seat, confirming his desire to be physically close to the club further – as proven by his three visits in three months.
He wants to experience a derby in the stadium, but it will not be his only goal. Indeed, the American also wants to discuss the stadium situation – a perfect chance considering the fixture this weekend – and the NBA Europe project, where investment is expected by the end of the month.

Don’t we have a losing record when he’s in town / when he sees the derby? 🤔
Stop spreading lies.
He’s only watched us live 4 times:
3-2 win in the Derby in 2022,
1-3 loss against Dortmund in 2023,
4-0 win against Venezia and
3-1 away at the Bernabeau.
4 games in 4 seasons.
But most of them wins.
