Internal promotions were the move instead at Milan, but after a summer in which the ‘new’ management struggled to sell, there still appears to be a missing link. There has been talk that the German could end up arriving after all due to a break clause in his current deal.
Moretto: Krösche a ‘strong contender’
Momentum seems to be mounting regarding that idea that a new head of the sporting area could arrive. Now, Matteo Moretto has provided the following update on his X profile regarding the hunt for new management members: “Gerry Cardinale is working to improve the club’s structure.
“The owner, in collaboration with the team he’s been working with since June, is aiming for a world-class sports organisation. The profile of Markus Krösche, sporting director of Eintracht Frankfurt, remains a strong contender.”

Nothing screams “world class” like taking a mid table german club and getting them to a… mid table finish.
I can see the appeal.
