Yannick Carrasco, who was a target for both AC Milan and Inter Milan during the January window is interested in a return to a European club this summer, and things could heat up again after his words with Het Laatste Nieuws.
“I would like to return to Europe. Many teams were interested in me this winter, we were looking for a solution but I understand the club. They wanted to keep me,” the 25-year-old said.
Before leaving to China, Carrasco was touted as one of Europe’s brightest young talents, but a less than stellar World Cup and his time in China have fizzled out that flair. If a return to one of Europe’s top five leagues is on the cards for him, only time will tell if his stock will rise once again.
Yannick has scored ten times in 27 appearances for Dalian Yifang.
