Milan Futuro clinched all three points, just like the Primavera, this afternoon as the veteran Andrea Magrassi really took matters into his own hands.
It’s been a pretty good weekend for Milan so far, with the Primavera’s win and now the Futuro’s. It remains to be seen if the first team will be able to follow suit, but what’s clear is that Massimo Oddo’s men bounced back from their defeat last time out.

The Rossoneri got off to a great start in the 14th minute, as Mattia Cappelletti did well to pick out Magrassi in the box. The veteran did perfectly to just steer the ball into the back of the net, certainly showcasing that he has scored quite a few goals in his career.
⚽ Magrassi with the opener for Milan Futuro, a really nice flick! The hosts equalised, though, so it’s 1-1 at half-time

Sadly, the home side found a way back in the 36th minute after converting a penalty. Lorenzo Torriano was the culprit as he was second to a ball in behind, and it looked correct on the replays even if the ball was probably out of play already.
The scoreline remained 1-1 into the break, but as soon as the second half kicked off, you could see that the Rossoneri were hungrier. After creating a few chances, including hitting the post, Magrassi took matters into his own hands in the 60th minute with a lovely finish. Great pass by Emanuele Sala, too. 2-1!

Milan then created several chances as the second half continued, but it was really only in the final minutes that things really opened up. Simone Branca came on and almost immediately had a shot clear off the line, while another big chance was squandered by Jacopo Sardo.
The third goal did eventually come, as Cappelletti did really well again to find Branca at the back post, and the midfielder made no mistakes.

With just one game remaining, sitting in fourth place two points ahead of sixth, promotion play-offs are very close for Milan Futuro.
