AC Milan winger Samu Castillejo has proclaimed that the group have found ‘the right mix between experienced players and young players’.

The Spaniard had a difficult start to the season but has scored three goals in his last four appearances, meaning that rumours of an imminent exit have been hushed for the time being.

Castillejo spoke to Milan TV before leaving for Prague, where Milan will play against Sparta tomorrow, with his comments transcribed by MilanNews.

“We are seeing a Milan playing well, with guys running for each other. We have truly become a family. If I were a Milan fan, and I am too, I would like to watch this Milan even as a spectator,” he said.

“The coach is a coach who pushes a lot and he does this to young players. At the group level we have the right mix between experienced players like Ibra and young players, so we’re doing well. We need to become even stronger like group and as a team.

“We are a group with a desire to do great things and it is right that the coach has 25 players. To become a strong group, it is right that every time the coach chooses someone, they do well. This is how you become. a strong group.”
