Samu Castillejo netted a hat-trick for AC Milan’s senior side in a training match against the Primavera at Milanello.
Stefano Pioli’s squad have now turned their attention to Sunday’s crucial clash against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico following a disappointing 2-2 draw against Lecce at San Siro.
As the club’s official website notes, this morning at Milan’s training ground the group did some work in the gym before being split into two groups.
The first was made up of players who started in yesterday’s match against Lecce, and they carried out work on fatigue, while the second group did running and shooting drills before playing a training training match with the Primavera.
The game was split into two 30-minute halves and predictably ended with a comprehensive 6-0 win for the first team.
The goals were scored by Samu Castillejo (x3), Krzysztof Piatek, Ante Rebic and Rade Krunic.
Tomorrow the team will enjoy a day off while training is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
