An update has arrived regarding Adrien Rabiot’s future as he is still without a club, and AC Milan have been mentioned as suitors by another club.
According to CaughtOffside, Rabiot’s representatives have held talks with Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal, and those discussions will continue next week. However, he is looking for around €10-15m per season and wants a three-year deal, which has forced reflections.

The Premier League trio will not face competition from Real Madrid because the European champions have turned the Frenchman down having been offered the chance to land him, while Atletico Madrid are keen but can’t match the salaries that teams in England can pay out.
Paris Saint-Germain ‘will not be entering into negotiations’ to re-sign Rabiot having had him before, according to the report, while they also add that Milan will ‘not be prioritising a transfer for him’ most likely due to the requests made. That implies other midfield targets are ahead of him.
Calciomercato.com did recently confirm that Milan’s interest is concrete and that they would be willing to offer a four or five-year contract with a lower salary than the €7m net plus €1m in bonuses proposed by Juventus, instead putting forward a longer deal at around €5.5m per year.

Anything above 5.5 is nonsense, sorry…
Rabiot is a good player but I’m a bit puzzled by the fuss.
I cannot see him as a major upgrade to any of our key guys. He is older and a 5 year deal puts him likely beyond his prime.
The fact that he is still without a club says he is overpriced by a wide margin.
The fact that Juve didn’t resign him with all the other midfield exits happening says he is not as high a quality as even €5.5 would indicate.
I’m glad we stepped back from him. I suspect it was always about leverage with the Fofana negotiation.
because his experience is needed
our squad now has Morata Spain captain and with tons of UCL experience, adding more will only be a good thing
Juventus didn’t resign him simply because his salary request is nonsense. They offered 7M, which seems just about right to me. The fact that he’s asking for 10-15M and didn’t much consider the offer from a Juventus where he was sure to be a starter/star/leader says too much about his (and his mom’s😂) character. Exactly like you said about still being without a club; a player way overpriced, and an agent too much trouble. My guess is he ends up on the PL but for 8-9M per year, or Saudi for the amount he (his mom) is asking.
This was obvious from day one regarding his salary requirements, I don’t think Milan ever had more of a conversation than finding out his request – just a fake interest designed to feign a competition for his signature.
He choose being frozen from squad for one years with PSG just for money & commission that he can get if free transfer thats already show his priority are money. He is starter in juve but reject juve offer 7m euro nett + bonus 1m euro, how can management ACM think he will accept that 5,5m euro nett offer ??
The only way he’ll get anything near what he is asking for is a move to the Middle East.
