Ceccarini: Milan have Roma outcast on wish list – ‘at least €30m’ needed for Botman

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are already making plans for the summer and while the January window was relatively quiet, with just one signing, the upcoming one won’t be the same. The wish list is beginning to take shape, a report claims.

Franck Kessie and Alessio Romagnoli both have expiring contracts and Milan are yet to renew them, with the former almost certain to leave. As a result, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are scanning the market for potential replacements.

As per Niccolo Ceccarini, in his latest piece for TuttoMercatoWeb, Milan have Renato Sanches as their No.1 target to replace Kessie this summer. They also have some alternatives, though, including Roma outcast Jordan Veretout. The Rossoneri tried to buy him already in 2019 from Fiorentina.

As for reinforcing the defensive, which could also be replacing Romagnoli, Milan are working on the signing of Sven Botman. They already have the yes of the player and are now negotiating with Lille. They will need ‘at least €30m’, as per the reporter, to get it over the line.
