CF: The outcome of the meeting with the council over new stadium – April a crucial month

By Oliver Fisher -

April will be an important month for AC Milan and Inter in their plans to build a new state-of-the-art stadium, a report claims.

The two clubs have made their intentions clear since last year to construct a new stadium which will take over from the current 94-year-old San Siro as their new home.

There have been a number of difficulties along the way with regards to what will happen to the existing stadium, as well as the costs of production and the volume overall, but Calcio e Finanza revealed that a meeting was set for Tuesday between the clubs and the council to discuss the relevant issues.

Now, the same outlet (via Calciomercato.com) have confirmed the outcome of the teleconference. They report that the presentation of the new plans for the stadium is set for April, after the new indications received from the city council regarding the volumes that will be permitted.
