Chaka Traore was brought in by AC Milan this summer as the youngster impressed with Parma this past season. He made three appearances for the now Serie B side, one of which was against the Rossoneri.

The 16-year-old, who will turn 17 in December, has been playing with the Primavera side so far and it remains to be seen when he will be called up for the first team. Three days ago, he scored his first goal for the team.

In the Coppa Italia clash against Como, Traore scored the third goal and it’s safe to say he has impressed thus far. Just a few days prior, he won a påenalty in the game against Roma and looked very lively on the pitch.

Speaking to the microphones of MilanTV, as cited by MilanNews, Traore shared his thoughts on scoring his first goal for the club. He revealed that he didn’t expect to score, but that he’s happy to help the team.

“I didn’t expect to score, since I arrived at Milan I have always tried to help, luckily today my first goal came and I’m happy for the victory. I’m very happy to be part of this team, we work every single day to improve and I hope that during the season we can grow,” he stated.
