UEFA have announced the dates for the Champions League group stage and AC Milan will begin their European adventure away at Salzburg. The two ‘toughest’ games are in the middle of the schedule.
Milan were drawn into Group E along with Chelsea, Dinamo Zagreb and Salzburg. There’s no doubt that the English side are the toughest opponents on paper and the Rossoneri will face them in back-to-back games.
The schedule (see photo below) was announced by UEFA earlier this morning and Milan will begin their adventure away from home against Salzburg. This also means that they will play the last game of the group stage at home against the Austrians.
A: 6/9, 21:00 – vs. Salzburg
H: 14/9, 18:55 – vs. Dinamo
A: 5/10, 21:00 – vs. Chelsea
H: 11/10, 21:00 – vs. Chelsea
A: 25/10, 21:00 – vs. Dinamo
H: 2/11, 21:00 – vs Salzburg
For now, though, Milan will have to focus on the league as they will take on Bologna this evening. They will be looking to get back to winning ways after the draw against Atalanta, and to capitalise on Inter’s loss yesterday.
