AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori broke a Serie A record during Sunday night’s 3-0 victory over Juventus, a report has revealed.

The Rossoneri won in dominant fashion in Turin at the weekend, with Tomori scoring after Brahim Diaz and Ante Rebic to complete a rout and a huge three points that gives Milan head to head advantage over Juve.

As PianetaMilan writes, it dream evening for Milan against Juventus. The Rossoneri took three very big points from a Champions League rival to move closer to an objective that would be fundamental for the club’s growth from an economic point of view and beyond.

Among the protagonists of the match was Tomori as the Englishman – on loan from Chelsea – has a virtually perfect performance which was capped by his first goal. It was a fantastic header in which he beat Giorgio Chiellini in the air, and he also broke a Serie A record.

The 23-year-old reached a height of 263cm, surpassing the previous record of Cristiano Ronaldo (against Sampdoria last season), who hit 254cm. It certainly appears to have gone under the radar.

  1. Was a great leap!! If only he could do this in the defensive phase he’d fix one of the big holes in his game. He’s got time though, very promising.
