PM: Chelsea midfielder offers himself to Milan through entourage – the situation

By Oliver Fisher -

Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic has offered himself to AC Milan through his agents ahead of the summer window, a report claims.

According to is being reported by PianetaMilan, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara had a very interesting market meeting at the hotel they were staying at during Wednesday night’s game against Spurs in the Champions League.

The directors met with Kovacic’s entourage and the midfielder actually offered himself to Milan as he intends to leave the Blues at the end of the season. He would welcome a return to Milano after his time with Inter, the source claims.

If the right conditions exist it is not excluded that Milan will make an attempt for the Croatian and there has been interest in him before on the part of the Diavolo from his time at Real Madrid.

Kovacic’s contract with Chelsea will expire on 30 June 2024 so the economic outlay shouldn’t be too high in terms of a transfer fee, while Calcio & Finanza report that he earns €3.2m net per season.

  1. Fake news, from the idea that he offered himself to the “3.2M”, he earns exactly 7.8M€ per year. But signing him would be a no brainer if it was possible…

      1. But that’s gross salary. PL always report gross salaries despite anyone else reporting net salaries. That’s why people like you think PL wages are astronomically higher than in the rest of Europe.

    1. You’re confusing net and gross. In Italy wages are reported in net and not gross. In England it’s gross, not net. Kovacic indeed earns around 3.2M net and around 6M gross.

      1. And what do you think, Leao is asking for 7.5M net? And he is making 1.8M net right now? Wow…That is why people like you shouldn’t comment on stuff they don’t know…brahimović was paid 7M net per season? I can go on, you are both being ridiculous…”Il Genio” Kovačić earns 8.8M€ gross, not 6M, why are you faking stuff? “Mateo Kovacic signed a 5 year / £39,000,000 contract with the Chelsea F.C., including an annual average salary of £7,800,000.” Is that hard to understand? Leao is asking for less money, not more. You can’t be an idiot and think Leao is asking for 7.5M net? :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

        1. “You can’t be an idiot and think Leao is asking for 7.5M net? ”

Once again the i-word in use. And yes, the FACT is that Leao IS indeed asking for 7.5M€ NET. The joke’s on you. 🙂

          1. Even this site has a new article that says Leao wants 7.5M€ NET.

Simply add this to the end of this site’s domain: /leao-requests-renew-champions-league-money

          2. Haha, Jesus what an ass. As a matter of fact, go straight to the source. I read the Gazzetta dello Sport article, it clearly says Leao is asking for 7.5 NET. And yes, he’s making 1.8m NET right now, not 900k. Owned. Maybe even pwned. Embarrassing.

          3. I hate to be the Judas here but… I think the Merriam-Webster’s definition of an idiot is the following:

“An idiot is a person who is calling someone else an idiot for something the other said – which is 100% true – while saying the exact opposite thing and being the only one to not realize how blatantly wrong himself/herself is.” 🙂

    2. Mateo Kovacic has 2 years and £10,400,000 gross remaining on his contract with Chelsea, expiring on Jun 30, 2024. Mateo Kovacic, earns a Gross Salary of £5,200,000 for the 2022-2023 Season, or £100,000 per week.
Rafael Leão has 2 years and €3,580,000 gross remaining on his contract with AC Milan (Serie A), expiring on Jun 30, 2024. Rafael Leão, earns a Gross Salary of €1,790,000 for the 2022-2023 Season, or €34,423 per week.

Conclusion. 2 different players but age/position and technicalities plays in Leao favor, which means Milan should work on both deals

  2. Milan shouldn’t has second thought about grabbing him. He is very solid midfielder. very good reading of the pitch. Phyiscally stronger than any midfilder milan has now
