La Stampa: Spurs, Chelsea and Bayern interest could spark auction for Milan target

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking at signing Gleison Bremer as an alternative to Sven Botman but it will not be an easy pursuit for the Torino man either, a report claims.

In today’s edition of the newspaper La Stampa (via MilanNews), the Botman situation has become complicated in the last few hours due to the competition that has arisen from the Premier League for the Dutchman, in particular from Newcastle United.

The alternative to Botman is Bremer, who was voted the best centre-back in Serie A in 2021-22, but his excellent season has begun to attract the interest of some foreign teams, especially in the Premier League.

Tottenham and Chelsea are ready to participate in an auction for the 25-year-old Brazilian as they could bid up to €40m, while Bayern Munich’s eyes are also on the player and Inter are also in the running to land him. There could be more competition than the Botman deal, therefore.

  1. Think he will go to Inter bc he wants to play in a back 3 and like they have a agreement already since January and he spoke with their board and coach aswell. Let’s see, I don’t think he wants to be a back up with us aswell

  2. He wont go to Inter. Cont is p*ssed they wouldn’t sell us Bastoni. There is no way on Planet Earth he’s going to let inter have him.
