This summer, AC Milan and Fenerbahce have competed for a few targets, but it seems they may win the bigger prize.
Archie Brown was the big battle so far this summer, with him heading to both Milan and Turkey at different points. However, he eventually headed to Fenerbahce, which the club used as an opportunity to poke fun at the Rossoneri.

It seems that with a bigger fish, though, the club may not have the same pull.
Chiesa’s preference
This morning, Calciomercato.com have reported that despite Fenerbahce’s involvement in the race for Federico Chiesa, he has rejected a move to Turkey. The league is ‘not warming him up’, so he will instead wait for other options.
In fact, the hope is that Milan will become interested in the winger, or Napoli, with him hoping for a return to the Italian top flight, more so given his Liverpool spell is not set to change. However, there must be a change in his demands.
With a wage of €7 million net per season, he cannot find a club in Italy that would be able to offer such numbers, or better yet, would want to. He has already been offered to the Diavolo, who he would be open to, thanks to a pre-existing relationship with Massimiliano Allegri.

Get him quick. He is deadly if he can stay fit. Can probably negotiate for loan with option to buy.
Chiesa had really good 2-3 years, but after the ACL he is made of glass. Also, he probably saw more minutes against PL teams while he was part of Juve vs a whole season with Liverpool. He has the talent but it would be a huge risk to invest in him.
For half his current salary and minimal transfer fee – why not, though I would suspect he will be a flop (sadly). He should have been one of the best Italians of the current generation.
Disagree. The injury was unfortunate and i still believe that injury was also one of the major reasons Italy didn’t qualify WC 22. In Liverpool, he arrived unfit but he didn’t get another major injury, it was just there are many other p,ayers in front of him. He always works hard, so he won’t be flop unless he got another major injury.
Well, most injuries occur during games, e.g. Origi is in perfect health since joining us. Not gonna lie – if we get him I’d be happy and supportive as a fan of his, but I wouldn’t risk getting him at his current salary. The transfer fee will be small anyway, as he was sold for peanuts last year.
Loan for 2M + salary paid. I think it would be worth even with 7M. You can get a better player for that money anywhere. Even if he played 20 minutes per game.
it’s a risk no doubt. He is very talented. The question is, will he be another Puli or another RLC (as of now).?
We need him to come for more competitive team
I would loan him with option to buy 15M. Liverpool would accept and Milan can evaluate him 1 year. If he does good easy transfer.
yep, but lets not do that and just waste more time on nobodies…
His best is way past him. He should have gone to Turkey. Or maybe a lower ranked Serie A team will take him.
If its a low cost deal, it will be a good deal
He is finished. That 7m euro nett salary also make him not worth because he dont have resale value high anymore
His salary is a pure delusional figure.
I wish Milan can see our comment they need to get him please
