This weekend, AC Milan saw the Scudetto get even further away than it was already with a 3-0 defeat to Udinese. Inter, on the other hand, proved their title credentials.
If there were even the slightest chance of Milan still being in the battle for the league title, they kissed those possibilities away in fantastic fashion on Saturday. A 3-0 dismantling at the hands of Udinese, the Rossoneri proved they are not challengers just yet.

However, the fallout from that loss has been substantial and there are once again suggestions about Massimiliano Allegri and his future at the club. It puts the hard work of this season into question and there is a potential storm on the horizon once again.
Chivu jokes
On Sunday, with Napoli also dropping points, Inter effectively won the title with a dominant win against Como. Whilst the scoreline may say otherwise, without key players, Inter did a job on a potential Champions League outfit.
Speaking after the game, Christian Chivu mockingly looked at his competitors for words in his press conference, as Football Italia relayed.
“I’ll do like my colleagues who only talk about Champions League qualification and I’ll say that we are happy to get closer to that target. Mathematically, we’re not there [at the Scudetto] yet.”

We’re not supposed to compete for the scudetto anyway, Napoli have a bad title defense and it’s funny how Napoli treat us as the biggest scudetto contender too
Yeah, can’t imagine having the best squad and receiving constant help from the referees puts you ahead of teams, aiming for CL qualification, fully knowing both of said factors would eventually come into play. The best part is this guy will remain their coach, I was slightly worried they will get Simeone.
