It is no secret that Inter are leading the Scudetto race by an almost uncatchable margin currently, but AC Milan are not out of it.
There has been a lot said about the Scudetto this season, but in Milan’s context, it has normally been a case of hoping, rather than expecting. After all, Massimiliano Allegri has kept his and the squad’s feet on the ground.

No one has gotten carried away, and the task has remained clear. Ultimately, he wants the Champions League, if they were to win the Scudetto, it would be an added bonus, as ridiculous as that may sound.
Chivu’s admission
His side are currently eight points behind their Milanese rivals in second, and that gap could become five in midweek with a win against Como. However, Inter’s boss Cristian Chivu has detailed how his side may have had a disadvantage in the title race, as MilanNews relays from his interview with InterTV.
“We could have done better; the last few years of head-to-head matches have weighed on us. The important thing is that we brought it home. We tried to do well even when we were struggling. We were naive in letting them draw. But we brought it home.
“The championship is still long, I hope this match gives us peace of mind, that it allows us to work harder and give us a competitive end to the season.
Keeping up that record in the remaining Head-To-Head games…
“I’ve always talked about improving our mental and playing style. Today we stayed in the game, and I chose to bring on another striker to try and win it. Then Zielinski’s quality from outside the box came to the fore, and this time we were lucky.
“We’ve improved a lot, we want to be competitive, and we’re doing everything we can to stay that way until the end.”

Yeah if we beat Cremonese, Parma and Como and then inter. Then we’re 2 points behind if Inter beats Genoa and Lecce ( which might now happen cuz Inter play Bodi GLimt twice and Como once. And after the derby Inter will face Atalanta, Fiorentina, Roma and Como in a row which I highly doubt they’ll take all of the points in where Milan face Lazio, Torino, Napoli and Udinese. Milan have a chance to win the scudetto but really it doesn’t matter we’ve had a ten times better season then last and we got the UcL money.
I wouldn’t be so sure about Inter dropping points. With the refs in their pockets, anythings possible.
Bro our problem is team like Parma and Cremonese… The bigger teams are easier to face
To everyone trying to say “well if we win all of these games and then beat Inter”, yeah yeah. Yes, we’re still mathematically capable of winning the league, just like Verona is still mathematically capable of avoiding relegation. Verona is going down, barring a miracle, and we’re not winning the title, barring a miracle. Given Inter’s current steamrolling form, we’d have to be almosy perfect for the rest of the season. Inter are currently averaging 2.44 points per match. That puts them on pace for 92 points! For us to get 93 points we’d need to average 2.79 points per game. We would basically have to finish the season from 13-0-1 (93pts) or 12-1-1 (91pts). Given how we play, the probablility is extremely low. It’s not happening folks, sorry.
Chivu should acknowledge their advantage with the ref. In no way was that a second yellow for Kalulu. They were lucky to beat Juve. Juve looked very good against them with even number of players … And still looked decent enough with a man down.
That being said…. This was episodic for Inter or being the “worse” team. Their numbers are pretty much above everyone else’s in the league. It’s their title to lose
I think Inter will dump the champions league and focus on the Serie A thus preventing us from winning the 2rd 🌟
Mr Chivu, you are lucky because the referee handed over the win to you, the red card was for Bastoni but the referee and the VAR handed the red card to Kalulu and the entire match Juventus Play better than Inter
