Official: Samuel Chukwuze joins Fulham on loan with option to buy

This evening, Fulham have confirmed the signing of Samuel Chukwueze on loan from AC Milan, with an option to buy.

There has been a prolonged interest in Chukwueze from London, but it was only in the final days of the summer that things started to get lively. The Nigerian does not really have a place at Milan, so a move was given the green light.

On Sunday night, the winger travelled to London to complete a medical, without a deal being agreed. However, it seems the parties have gotten things over the line.

Chukwueze Here we go

Chukwueze to Fulham: Done

Chukwueze, who joined the Rossoneri in the summer of 2023, leaves on loan initially. However, the London club have a buy clause within the deal, worth €30 million, per reports from deadline day.

Fulham confirmed the deal this evening, stating the following.

“The Club is delighted to confirm the signing of Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan.

“He joins on loan for the duration of the 2025/26 season, with an option to make the move permanent.”

Considering he never really took to Serie A, and Christian Pulisic’s lift-off since moving to Italy in the same summer, getting this deal done is a good bit of business from the Diavolo. All the best, Chukwu!

    1. Milan had the option to renew Jovic with a year but if media reports were to be believed then he wanted a 2 year extension. Considering we didn’t sign a true striker he is the one I would have liked to have kept.

  1. Better not have injuries to Pervis or Saelemaekers or we are cooked. Not a Chukwueze fan but we need wingers or something close to it. Watch Allegri stick Leão and Pulisic out wide 🤣🤣🤣

  2. We have 19 players in the field, one of them 20 years old at right back and one stopper 19 years old, plus our Bartesaghi 19 years old. I’m not familiar with De Winter, but I reckon he’s no worse than Thiaw and the three stumps we currently have. One of us is out of order for the next 3 months. So, technically, it’s a squad of 15 players, which is quite enough for Allegri, who makes three changes per match 😃. Two injuries and we’re done. I don’t even want to talk about the drop in form.

Exactly. He’s not known for making that many substitutions – or making those early. I think he’d be happy with just 2-3 subs per match. 😀

  3. Bye bye chuku.. i like his style of playing. He s not bad as a playmaker, who gives you the right pass fore scoring …😘😊🫶🏽
