Some more bad news has arrived on the injury front for AC Milan as they are likely to be without Samuel Chukwueze for a few weeks.
There was a worrying moment for Chukwueze in the first half of the 1-1 draw against Roma and it came not long after an attempt on goal as he fell to the floor clutching his hamstring. He immediately requested a change, with Tammy Abraham taking his place.
He looked in real pain when he went down which immediately led to fears of a muscle tear rather than just a tweak, and a further update has come today following the news that he has not travelled for the Supercoppa Italiana in Saudi Arabia.
According to MilanNews, the MRI scan carried out has revealed a lesion of the left femoral biceps. The Nigerian will be re-examined in ten days and he is expected to be out for at least one month, meaning he would miss the whole of January.
That means the winger will be out for: Juventus in the Supercoppa semi-final, the final (if Milan quality), Cagliari at home, Como away, Juventus away, Girona at home, Parma at home and Dinamo Zagreb away. The derby on 2 February may well be the target.
He will not be missed, Pulisic, Jimenez, Chaka Taore , Musa, Okafor can replace him, it’s still astounding that we paid 28million for him at the last year of his contract .
Don’t kick a man while on the floor! He’s among the first players I’d sell however that’s better posted on another news.
Most time the way people talk about these players, it seems we often forget they are human beings too. Thank you (Smiling Coast) for putting him in line.
Can’t sell an injured player so…that right wing isn’t being reinforced for sure.
Come to think about this, what if it’s a pre-planned injury from him and the medical officials to make him unavailable for January mercato?
Hmmm… Humans are wicked.
I hope you didn’t just realize that.
How can someone plan to tear the hamstring? You think he bribed the medical team to make a fake examination?
If he had tore his hamstring he would have been out for at least 2-3 months.
Very stupid assumptions.
How can a player fake injury to avoid transfer? Why didn’t you say Leao faked injury? Or Pulisic? Or Noah?
You just opened your mouth and talk like a freaking peanut brains.
Can we deem this experiment a failure so far?
Dammit. No matter if we bring Pep, Klopp, and whoever as coach, if we can’t stop this f’ing injury issue that’s been plaguing us for forever by now, we won’t be able to move forward. We can’t hold a squad of 50 top players. No matter how much money we have, or who the manager is
Get well soon mate
That’s some really bad news, both squad and market wise…
There goes the RW upgrade we all wanted…
Terrible news now we cannot sell this 28M BUST
Another horrible signing from our wonderful management team 🤡🤡🤡
