CIES: Milan, Inter and Juventus dominate top 10 of most valuable Serie A players

Three AC Milan players have cracked the top 10 of most valuable players in Serie A in terms of market value, according to a study.

The CIES Football Observatory have drawn up a ranking of the players with the greatest potential market value in the world, as they do each year, revealing a top 100 which is based on statistical data and which takes into account various parameters including their age and duration of their contract.

Calciomercato.com report how Lautaro Martinez is top of the Serie A ranking with a value of €106.7m and he is followed by Inter team-mate Nicolò Barella, who has a value of €94.9m. Dusan Vlahovic closes the podium, who is worth €87.6m.

In fourth place is Roma’s Tammy Abraham (€71.4m), who beats the first Milan player Theo Hernandez by about €100k (€71.3m). Rafael Leao is just after the Frenchman and he has a value of €66.9m, while after Manuel Locatelli, Matthijs De Ligt and Alessandro Bastoni it is Sandro Tonali (€54.9m) who closes the list.

  1. Biased Valuation.It is not possible R Leao is has lower market Prize than any player in Serie A,And Sandro Tonali has less price thanN Barrella.Who is Going to Listen this Report.Are we just only Junior Audiance and Like Animals.What kind of Caretaria did they Use.

    1. Lengths of contracts actually also play a part into valuations of players and leao only has two years contract left compared to several of the players in the list.

  2. How can locatelli be in the list, he is a big juve flop, he is older and have same contract duration with tonali

  3. Barella is worth 30M Euros at most, who wanna get a player who have a positional problem all over his career.
