Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has said that Charles De Ketelaere’s move to AC Milan was good and he hopes he can do well.

Speaking during an interview with Sky Sport Italia ahead of the Belgian Formula 1 Grand Prix on Sunday (via Milan News), the City midfielder lent his support towards De Ketelaere and his immediate future at Milan.

The pair both play for the Belgian national team and that is why De Bruyne has a vested interest in the development of De Ketelaere.

“He’s a great guy, I played with him in the national team and I’m very happy for him. It was a good transfer and I hope he can do well and help us with Belgium.”

De Ketelaere made his first start for his new team against Bologna on Saturday night and he put in a highly impressive display.

He set up the first goal of the game as he won the ball in midfield and drove forward with purpose. He then laid the ball wide to Rafael Leao who could then finish low past the Bologna goalkeeper and make it 1-0.
