GdS: Club Brugge want €30m for De Ketelaere – why Elliott may approve the signing

AC Milan are big admirers of Charles De Ketelaere and Elliott Management could approve a big investment on him, a report claims.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), everyone at Milan is convinced that Elliott’s policy of investing in young talent is paying off and that is why Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are eyeing further players that fit that descriptions.

Among them there is Charles De Ketelaere, a star of Club Brugge and now the Belgian national team. He fits perfectly with the club’s strategy as he is 21 years old and has the qualities to become a top-tier player, with Milan believing that he could grow further and establish himself in a decidedly more difficult and competitive league than the Belgian one.

He is an attacking midfielder by profession but given he is 1.92m tall De Ketelaere can also play as a centre-forward. Over the course of his career he has scored 24 goals and has 19 assists in 112 appearances , which means he has a cost above €30m, but given his profile Elliott could therefore give the approval.
