Tuttosport: Club Brugge forward causes a stir with comments about Milan ‘dream’

Club Brugge forward Nicolo Tresoldi has made it clear that his dream is to join AC Milan in the future, the team he grew up spporting.

As Tuttosport (via SpazioMilan) report this morning, things are going well for Milan so far this season but what is certain is that they wanted another striker in the summer that did not arrive. The candidate, just like for the midfield with Ardon Jashari, could come from Club Brugge.

On Tuesday evening, a great game between Atalanta and Brugge took place not far from Milan. What got everyone talking wasn’t so much the result, but rather the comments made by one player after the match.

Indeed, Tresoldi spoke to Sky after the game and made a revelation: “I follow Italian football, and my dream has always been to play for AC Milan, having always been a Milan fan.” His words haven’t gone unnoticed by Rossoneri supporters on social media, who believe he is a name to watch.

It is certainly not great news for Club Brugge, who have already had two of their star players force a move to Milan in recent years. Firstly there was Charles De Ketelaere – who now ironically plays for Atalanta – and then Jashari in the most recent window.

Nicolò Tresoldi is a 21-year-old player who grew up in Italy but moved to Germany in 2017. This allowed him to play for the German U21 national team, with whom he also competed for the European Championship.

Despite this, however, the forward hasn’t closed his eyes to the Italian national team: “Right now I’m playing for the German national team, but if Gattuso called me, I’d be happy to have a chat. I’m happy with Germany, but who knows what happens in the future.”

Could Milan call too? In terms of his credentials he already has seven goal contributions this season with five of them goals. He has a goal and an assist in the Champions League as well, so remains one to watch.

  1. This kid needs a media team. He’s playing for Brugge but talking about playing for Milan. He’s representing Germany, but would be happy to discuss a call up to Italy. Don’t burn your bridges bro.

  2. It’s quite normal. This is MILAN, every Italian kid dreams to play for Milan. He’s not a full German international, and he’s of Italian descent. You call yourself a Rossonero and don’t know our club is a big deal? We’re the 2nd most successful club in Europe. Don’t act like we’re Manchester United or Liverpool or something. This is MILAN

    1. I don’t know how you extrapolated that I’m implying Milan isn’t a club people should want to play for from what I said.
