CM: AC Milan keeping tabs on Benfica youngster; three other Italian clubs interested

As you would expect, given the club’s project, AC Milan are always looking for the next big star. Ahead of the upcoming transfer windows, the Rossoneri are keeping tabs on a few players to strengthen the squad. 

According to Calciomercato.com, one of the players that Milan are following is Benefica’s Florentino Luis. The 20-year-old has impressed in the midfield of the Portuguese side, thus attracting the interest of several teams.

In Italy, the likes of Inter, Juventus and Roma are also following the youngster, per the report. However, Florentino won’t be cheap for any of the teams interested, as Benfica have slapped a hefty price tag of €70m on him.

In any case, it seems like Milan will focus on experienced players this January. According to the same source in a different report, Boban is looking for experienced leaders on the market, ready to strengthen the team with what it so desperately needs.
