Davide Bartesaghi and AC Milan will move forward together with the defender expected to sign a new contract in the coming days, a report claims.
According to Calciomercato.com, in the last few hours the Milan management have reached a total agreement with Nick Arcuri – the agent of Bartesaghi – over the extension of his contract.
A first professional contract is ready for the 17-year-old, and he is expected to sign it on Monday. Bartesaghi has already made his Serie A debut in the match against Hellas Verona, and this contract shows the faith that the club have in him.
Bartesaghi will sign a three-year contract which is the maximum duration foreseen by regulations, with an option for another two years.
It is another positive step forward for a player that has already earned the respect of Stefano Pioli, as seen by the fact that he was part of the senior squad for the USA preseason tour too.
