Milan are one of the teams in the running to land Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina but are far from the only contender, a report claims.
The stock of Vlahovic seems to be rising with each passing week as the 21-year-old striker raises his goal tally, scoring a hat-trick against Benevento earlier in the month to move to 12 goals in the league this season. His contract is set to expire in June 2023 meaning a crossroads of sorts is approaching whereby he must commit his long-term future to La Viola or a sale will be on the cards.
According to Calciomercato.com, Milan are on the trail of the Serbia international but are one of five teams described as ‘active’ in their pursuit of Vlahovic, with the others being RB Leipzig, Roma, Atletico Madrid and Arsenal. The centre-forward is the most important legacy left by Cesare Prandelli who departed recently, as he ‘represents a treasure of inestimable value’ for Fiorentina.
