CM: Asllani snubs Newcastle as Milan and Inter battle for him with different ideas

AC Milan and Inter are set to battle it out on the transfer market for Empoli regista Kristjan Asllani, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com report that Asllani has clear ideas about the choices for his future. Newcastle United have made the most concrete enquiry so far and they also began talks with Empoli but the player would like to stay in Italy.

Inter and Milan are battling each other with different projects and proposals in mind for Asllani. The Rossoneri would like to try AND buy him, but they are happy to leave him on loan at Empoli for at least another six months or potentially the full season.

On the other hand, the Nerazzurri would like him to immediately join and be the deputy to Marcelo Brozovic in a role of that has remained uncovered for too long. For both clubs there is the possibility of inserting technical that can lower the cost of the Albanian, the report adds.
