CM: Atalanta on hold and an imminent agreement – latest on Vranckx to Milan

AC Milan are expected to complete the signing of Aster Vranckx from Wolfsburg with an agreement getting closer and closer, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com confirm that Vranckx should arrive before the window shuts and add some interesting background regarding the 19-year-old. He did not want to hear from other clubs any more once he became aware of the Rossoneri’s interest.

An agreement was found over personal terms in a few minutes and all the other proposals, including one from Atalanta, were put on stand-by. Now Vranckx is simply waiting for the green light which should arrive today, and then he will head for Italy.

Milan and Wolfsburg agree on the formula of a paid loan with option to buy and are now working out precisely what the economic details will be.

The offer presented by Maldini and Massara is worth €1m for the loan and €11m for the option, but Wolfsburg would like a little bit more for both the loan and the buy-out. The solution could be found by inserting bonuses linked to team targets and/or the number of appearances in the season.
